William A. Rhoton, MD, FCCP, is a 2002-graduate of the Universidad de Guadalajara, Centro Universitario de Ciencias de la Salud, in Mexico. His postgraduate training includes his internal medicine residency served at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (2003-2006). He then completed his pulmonary disease medicine and critical care medicine fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York (2006-2009). Dr. Rhoton attained triple board certification in internal medicine, pulmonary disease medicine, and critical care medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Dr. Rhoton is also a member of the Epocrates Honors Program, the Global Medicine Network, and the National Diabetes Education Initiative. A Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), he is a member of the American Association of Chest Physicians, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York, the Society of General Internal Medicine (Associate), and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
